Recognizing all the gifts we have and being open to sharing those gifts with the people around us; our friends, family neighbors, the stranger on the street, is one of the obligations of our spiritual path.
Stephanie Guinosso discovered yoga following a knee injury playing college basketball in 1998. After pursuing traditional rehabilitation that did not lead to a full recovery, she tried yoga as a last resort. Yoga helped to break up the scar tissue, increase strength and flexibility, and ultimately heal the injury. She has been practicing yoga ever since! Trained as a Forrest Yoga Teacher in 2008 under Ana Forrest, Stephanie inspires students to develop an intuitive body awareness, work intelligently at their physical edges, and use the gifts of yoga to walk through life with a little more ease and a lot less struggle. She currently assists her husband, Pete Guinosso, on numerous local and international retreats. She also teaches yoga through Lemonade – A Yoga Program for young men in juvenile hall.
