Lighting the Path Yoga & Meditation Intensives
June 10 - June 14
7:00am – 10:00am
The gift of a longer yoga intensive can be a wonderful way to reconnect to your practice, focus energy and time on a particular aspect, or simply prioritize time for you! These intensives are open to students with a regular practice and are comfortable with sun salutations while working in a heated room. Join Pete for the entire week or pick the days that work for you.
Monday: Create a sacred space and bring your best quality of attention to your practice as we explore arm balances.
Tuesday: Open your heart to feeling more full as you build a practice around backbends like camel, wheel, and viparita.
Wednesday: Choose a physical spot in the body to focus attention on as we build strength in a long standing pose series.
Thursday: Seek out pleasure in the practice as we work away from struggle in playful backbends like dancer and wheel walking.
Friday: Connect to an emotional issue and the ways this can manifest in our physical body as we explore a series of hip openers.
The power of Pete’s intensive series is that each class is designed and sequenced to build on previous classes. You will experience profound growth and meaningful connection of your mind, body and spirit.
All students of yoga are welcome to participate; you do not have to be a teacher or teacher trainee to attend. If you are already a certified yoga teacher Pete’s Intensives will refresh your personal practice and revitalize and enhance your teaching skills.
Intermediate level students and above.
These intensives are part of Lighting the Path Teacher Training 300hr Advanced Teacher Training and open to non-trainees. They qualify for Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Credit hours.
