In-Person Classes FAQ

  • Street parking is possible but limited. If you can, walk, bike, take public transit, or use a ride share service to get to the studio. If you need to drive, add an additional 15-20 minutes in order to find a parking spot and walk to the studio. It’s possible to find a spot within 5 blocks of the studio, but this will add a 10-min walk to your arrival time.

  • Please be inside the studio 10 minutes before class starts in order to remove your shoes, store your belongings, and find your spot in the practice room. The studio fills up very quickly and 100% of the spots can fill up prior to class starting. In addition, you will not be admitted to the room if you are late.

  • Pete’s teaching style is best described as an Inspired Vinyasa Flow. If you’re new to yoga and not quite sure what that means, the best way to explain his classes is they are designed to help you journey toward connecting your mind, body and spirit through breath work and awareness. Powerful sequences are designed to create a fluid practice of meditative movement, while also cultivating an awareness of alignment. Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry, but no matter what, we always work on building strength and flexibility. And we always sweat! Pete believes that vigorous asanas (poses) are a pathway to helping us overcome our self-imposed limitations; through a challenging yoga practice, we can see our potential to overcome any difficulty.

  • If you have any physical needs or injuries, please inform Pete before the class begins.. You can either come to the class early, or contact Pete beforehand.

  • Yoga Mat

    Water

    Towel (you will sweat)

  • We will provide blankets, blocks, bolsters and straps in the studio.

  • For Pete’s all-levels class it’s helpful to have experience doing a vinyasa class beforehand.

Pete offers a class for beginners.

Pete’s Level 1-2 Vinyasa yoga class has been designed for beginners, and for students of all ages and fitness levels: no significant experience or flexibility required. Perfect for those students who have had no previous exposure to yoga, but are eager to learn and start experiencing the amazing benefits of a yoga practice. The yoga class will be slower paced and offered with a greater level of detail so the student can become familiar with basic yoga poses and use of the breath.

  • Be prepared to fall in love with the mind-body practice of yoga—either for the first time, or all over again!

  • Mats are spaced out to ensure the safety of all guests. We have industrial HEPA Air Purifiers that will be on at all times. If you are not feeling well, please stay home to rest and in order to protect your fellow yogis.
