In a world where challenges can feel overwhelming, and especially now, in the aftermath of the 2024 election, the need for connection, healing, and hope is stronger than ever.
Join us for "Micro-Dosing Hope," a special community gathering designed to cultivate resilience, inspire collective courage, and reconnect us with the power of togetherness.
We’ll begin with a free hour-long yoga class, focusing on gentle heart-openers and grounding practices to help us release tension, process emotions, and create space for hope. Through movement and breath, we’ll honor our individual and collective journeys and prepare our minds and bodies to receive the support of our community.
As Kritee Kanko beautifully reminds us, "When we grieve collectively within our communities, we come to insights and understanding; we build our power, and our collective ancestral resilience, and the seeds of courage necessary for collective action can blossom." In this spirit, after our yoga session, we’ll spend 30 minutes in an open discussion, sharing stories of people and organizations who are making a positive impact on the world. Let’s celebrate those who are lighting the way and remind ourselves that even in uncertain times, there are always glimmers of hope.
Finally, we’ll close our time together by breaking bread and sharing a meal. Bring a dish that brings you comfort or represents hope to you. This potluck-style gathering is a chance to nourish not only our bodies but our spirits as we enjoy each other’s company and foster the sense of community we need to keep moving forward.

Hour 1: Yoga Class (heart-opening, grounding, and breath-focused practice)
Half Hour Discussion: Stories of Hope & People Making a Difference
Hour 2: Potluck - Sharing Food & Connection
